Vehicle Run Day – Day of the General

April 19, 2015 @ 10:00 - 16:00

The Year of the General Vehicle Run Day at the National Military Vehicle Museum celebrates military vehicles and equipment made by General Motors, including Holden. There will be an exciting collection of vehicles from World War I and II, as well as historic and present-day cars and emergency vehicles.

Family activities include truck rides and face painting.

08:00 Gate Open for display vehicles, band, entertainment and duty personnel.
09:00 Gates Open to General Public. Lucky gate tickets given out (to be drawn at 1500 hrs)
09:00 10:00 Vehicle rides to operate. For safety reasons, these will be in the arena area only.
09:00 10:00 Band/Entertainers to commence entertainment.
10:00 11:00 Arena events to commence. Includes:
1. Saracen Display
2. Miss Stuart (Tank)
3. Daimler Dingo
4. Bren Gun Carrier
5. Any other selected vehicles
6. 25 Pound Gun Crew
 11:00 First firing of the QF 25 pound field gun
 11:10 13:00 Vehicle rides to operate. For safety reasons, these will be in the arena area only.
 11:10 13:00 Band/Entertainers to commence entertainment.
 11:10 14:00 Judging of vehicles
 12:00 BBQ Lunch, proudly supported by Bendigo Bank
13:00 14:00 Arena events to commence. Includes:
1. Saracen Display
